Settings
The settings file, the catalog folder, and the data the application keeps.
Location
The application keeps its state in your user configuration folder, in a folder named tinkerbus. The folder comes from
the operating system: ~/.config/tinkerbus on Linux (or $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/tinkerbus), %AppData%\tinkerbus on Windows,
~/Library/Application Support/tinkerbus on macOS. If the system has no configuration folder, nothing is saved.

A damaged settings.json is treated as empty and replaced the next time something is saved.

lastProject | string | Path of the project to reopen at the next start. Cleared when you close a project; Save as and Start from scratch set it to the new file. |
projectKeys | map | Project path to the key derived from the project password, for projects where you ticked Remember on this computer. It opens that file and nothing else. The password itself is never stored. |

tcp | bool | Whether tunnelling over TCP was chosen. |
knxprodFolders | list | Folders you added for the search for .knxprod files, in addition to the usual download folders. |
onlineUrl | string | Address of the knxprod-index service. Empty means the built-in default, https://index.tinkerbus.org. |
onlineConsent | bool | You agreed to send searches and downloads to onlineUrl. The online catalog is off while this is false. |
masterDataAuto | bool | You agreed to download the KNX master data from update.knx.org automatically when it is missing (Catalog > My catalog). Off by default; without it the download only happens when you confirm it. |
What is remembered in the browser storage of the window
The last section you used and the state of the monitor drawer are kept in the local storage of the application window,
not in settings.json.
